The Coffee shop is run by Volunteers in Alderholt reading rooms. The coffee shop is open Monday-Wednesday 9.30-1.30. Drop in for Cake, coffee and chat.

Holy Communion takes place every Sunday morning at 8.00am using the book of common prayer.

At St James' Church we have Parish Communion every First, Third and fifth Sunday in the month. The service starts at 10.30am. All ages are welcome at this service but we do have two children's groups for ages 4-9 and 10-14 that start in the Church and then leave to the Church Hall for fun games and activities.

Sunday Club for ages 4-9 and Sofa Sessions for ages 10-14 meet most weeks (term time). The children start off in the Church and then during the service leave to go over to the Church Hall for games, craft and fun. the older group have hot chocolate and doughnuts and have a more bible based discussion.

We have Messy Church the Second Sunday of each month in Alderholt Village Hall. This starts at 10.00am with a full English breakfast followed by a messy game, songs and lots of fun activities. This is an event for all ages but especially those with children.

The Fourth Sunday of each month is our new informal service, Soul Food. This service starts at 10.30am. All ages are welcome to this service however we do have a children's groups for ages 4-9 that starts in Church and then go over to the Church hall for games and activities. Our Older 10-14 group stays in Church for this service.
