About Us

St. Mary's is the historic Parish Church of Swanage.  Through our regular worship and activities, we seek  to 'love God and love our neighbour'  and serve our local community. 

The church is open for personal prayer, contemplation and visiting daily throughout the week.

We play an active part  with other churches in Churches Together in Swanage (CTS).

St Mary's is involved in the civic life of Swanage and  hosts a number of civic services during the year.

As a parish, we  work with young people and support  our local schools.   Also, we support 'The Wave' an ecumenical youth project across Swanage.

Also we support various community initiatives (e.g Swanage Foodbank)

Swanage is a town with a vibrant Arts culture and St Mary's  hosts concerts and a range of other activities throughout the year. –
