Farnham: St Laurence in Dorset

Farnham Church welcomes everyone through its door and is normally unlocked from 9am to 5pm (a yank on the door handle to the left will unlatch the door).  Visitors often regard this small church as a welcome sanctuary because of its simplicity, be it a place to pray or reflect, to consider its various styles of architecture or to investigate family history.

St Laurence Church, Farnham is part of the Chase Benefice, Dorset and services are held according to the Benefice rota of services.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Farnham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have a Benefice Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Benefice Safeguarding Officer, Gill Baverstock on 07984 506880 or 01725 516311 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
