The north-west corner of the north aisle has settled over time and combined with some roof spread has caused the north wall to rotate outwards. The window reveal on the west side of the n-west window has dropped leaving a 20mm gap between the window and the reveal. This has been filled with putty but you can still see daylight (5mm). There is cracking that steps up and around the inside of the window head into the west gable, this cracking is mirrored externally and has been filled with cement mortar.

It is envisaged that the works would initially comprise of the stitching and stabilising of the two external walls of the church, using Cintec stainless steel anchors, followed by the installation of 2 number augered piles, to an assumed depth of 10.0m, with the auger bores remaining open and free from ground water during their formation to the required depth. A Cintec anchor will be embedment into the existing external /internal wall sections from the outside of the church, and across the existing high-level arch that separates the North Chapel and the North Aisle and embedment into the existing external internal wall sections. Where the stainless-steel bar is to be exposed across the bottom of the arch, then this will comprise of a solid smooth polished stainless steel bar section. The costs allow for the restricted access up the existing narrow width road and which in cases will require the man handling and physical carrying of some items up the existing road.
