Come to LaTCH on 30th March for coffee, croissants and a variety of crafty activities for families, followed by an informal service that starts at 10.30am.

We’ll have a guest speaker, Helen Horsley formerly of Homestart, and lively music led by the specially formed band!
While the 30th March is Mothering Sunday, this special service aims to recognise love in all it’s forms - whether that is the love of a mother and child, someone who takes a mothering role or remembers others with love.

Join Our ‘Pilgrimage of Peace’
This Palm Sunday, 13th April, we invite you to a reflective 2-mile circular walk from St Nicholas Church, Abbotsbury, starting at 2:30pm.
Together, we’ll journey to St Catherine’s Chapel and back, pausing along the way for peaceful readings, songs, and mindfulness practices. Walking in silence through nature, we’ll embrace the present moment, listening to our breath, feeling the world around us, and reflecting on ways to bring peace into our lives and communities.
At St Catherine’s Chapel, we’ll offer prayers for peace and gratitude for life’s gifts. As we return, palm crosses will remind us of the message of sacrificial love and humility—the power of peace over selfishness.
Come walk with us, breathe in peace, and share it with the world.

Join Reverend Margaret on zoom for a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day.

This small and friendly group meets regularly to practise Christian contemplative prayer and meditation together.
Come as a visitor or a regular attendee.
Coffee will be served at the end, around 11am.

Starting at Holy Trinity, Swyre, at 10am, this will be a 'there and back' walk, with stops for reflection and prayers. After Swyre, the walk continues to Puncknowle - at approximately 10.30am at the church - and then on to Litton Cheney - for about 11.30am. The White Horse Pub might make an excellent coffee stop! You can join the walk for as much or as little as you would like but we anticipate the whole walk taking approximately 3 hours. You'll need stout walking shoes as some of the paths cross fields. Dogs on leads are welcome to come too.

A service of Holy Communion with hymns

Slaying the dragon of isolation and loneliness!
Join us for a short St George’s Day service to remember and think about men struggling with life, and to sing ‘Jerusalem’ in England’s green and pleasant land!
Wear your red trousers and/or a red rose!

This service uses The Book of Common prayer liturgy. It is a said service - without hymns.

Whether you are a ringer or not, come along to a lively service to celebrate bells and bellringing! This will be followed by an opportunity to ring the bells if you are a ringer, to watch the ringing - and enjoy a ringers' tea.
