About Us

St Nicholas, Buckland Ripers is a part of The Ridgeway team of churches.

St Nicholas is a beautiful little church tucked away among the trees at the end of Church Lane.

Although the list of parish clergy dates back to the 13th century the present church is of a much later date. A fire destroyed the medieval building in 1654, and the following year work on the present church began.

You will see from the pictures how small the church is. When the congregation reaches over forty five it feels quite full. 

Our worship is very simple and easy to follow. We do sing and love having visitors.
