We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful church, which is over 1,000 years old and is the site of the holy shrine for St Wite, Dorset's patron saint.

The church is open 10am–4pm every day for visitors.

Our Sunday worship service is at 11am every Sunday, apart from the first Sunday of the month. Our Healing Service is at 11am on the third Sunday of the month. All welcome; please come.

To join one of our guided walks, please see St Wite's Way Pilgrimage Walks

Safeguarding

Our parish of Whitchurch Canonicorum with Stanton St Gabriel & Fishpond: St Candida & Holy Cross is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
