Changes that occurred in leadership of Makamba Diocese where St Mark's GAHOSHA is. The Current Bishop Martin is retiring in August, the Diocesan Synod has elected Revd Onesphore NDAYIZIGAMIYE to be the 2nd Bishop of the Diocese of Makamba. His installation is due to take place on 3rd August 2025.

Other appointments are:
Rt Revd Aimé Joseph KIMARUNGU, the Bishop of Gitega Diocese has been appointed to the Position of Deputy Président of Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Retiring Bishop Martin Blaise NYABOHO has been appointed to the position of President of National Independent Commission of Human Rights.

Prayers are needed for the appointed Bishops.

Regarding the previous Archbishop Bernard's health, sadly Bernard passed away a few days ago, please pray for his family and the church in Burundi following his loss
