All resources ie Robot parts, LED strips, robot controllers, tools etc have been provided for use of the children. Each child has been provided with a kit that will enable them to build a small wheeled robot. However, they will not be able to take the kit away at the end of the week as these will be dismantled and reused for the next group.

What have we been doing? (No previous knowledge expected/required)

Breakfast has been provided each day, as well as a snack mid-morning and lunch as well.

We have been building a small wheeled robot that will run on batteries

We have looked at how we can control the robot (wifi)

We have tested the robot out on a track with obstacles and seen how we can make it better

We have looked at programmable LED lights and seen how we can create a racing game with just LED lights. No programming experience necessary.

Anything else we can fit in that will be fun
