St Mary Magdalene Parish Church

We are the parish church of SOUTH MOLTON in DEVON

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene is part of the Parish of South Molton with Nymet St. George, and of the wider South Molton Mission Community, comprising several parishes across a large rural area.

We offer a Christian presence in South Molton, seeking to be at the heart of our town; serving our community; sharing our faith and values; worshipping together. Our wonderful building is the focus of many major events in people's lives, be it births (baptisms), marriages, or deaths (funerals).

People have worshipped here for many centuries, seeking a closer relationship with God. We hope you will come to share with us a sense that this is a special place where you can feel God's peace.

PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION AND RESOURCES FOR WORSHIP AT HOME.

The parish of South Molton: St Mary Magdalene is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
