Thank you to all who had offered to support the Christmas Fair last weekend, either by providing items, manning stalls, being able to visit or sending thoughts for a successful fair. After much consideration, the decision has been made NOT to try and arrange a fair this side of Christmas.<br>We are planning for events to take place in 2025, so please keep an eye out for updates and all help and support will be gratefully appreciated.<br>In the meantime, thanks for your continued support of the Lyn Valley Mission Community and hopefully see you at the Exmoor Carolers on Wednesday.
Following traditions stretching back hundreds of years, the service will also feature contributions from local schools and community groups. It will include processions, a variety of music and an official welcome, as well as the anointing and enthronement of Bishop Mike.You can watch the service live or catch-up with it afterwards on the Exeter Cathedral YouTube channel. Please click the link to view.Bishop Mike will begin the day in prayer at dawn on Woolacombe Beach, where he has happy memories of childhood holidays with his own parents.He will also join the congregation for a service at the rural St Peter’s church in Bittadon, visit Barnstaple Panier Market, and a community hockey club in Tiverton en route to Exeter.The Enthronement service itself will commence with a procession from Exeter’s Guildhall to Cathedral Green.
