Remembrance Service

There will be a Remembrance Service at Woody Bay station, Sunday 9th November. Participants asked to gather at 10.45 in time for the silence and service at 11am. The service will be conducted by Tim Woods. Tea shop will be open after for refreshments and train rides will be on offer.

There will be service of Remembrance starting with gathering at the War Memorial at 10.45 for laying of wreaths and silence at 11. The service will continue in the church.

Soul Space

The Clubhouse, Holman Park

We (the youth) have decided to continue meeting indefinitely and to name the group 'SoulSpace'.

SoulSpace is a multi-church youth group that meets weekly in Holman Park Club House, Lynton, 4.45pm until 6pm on Tuesday evenings. We share food, play games, have meaningful conversations about life, faith and purpose, and more. Whether you have gone to church for years or have never set foot in one before, all are welcome!

This group is for children of secondary school age but you must have parental consent to attend.

Holy Communion

A service of Communion is celebrated in Christ Church on the first Sunday of each month. We would like to welcome all to our service and our church. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service and we would encourage you to stay for a chat after the service.

Service of Nine Lessons and Carols.

Our traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols. The singing will be supported by the Parracombe Christmas choir. After the service, congregation are invited to stay for mulled wine and mince pies.

Morning Worship

We have a service of Morning Worship on the third Sunday of each month which is led by a member of our church. This is a fairly informal service and is family oriented and we are especially pleased to be inclusive for children in our service. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after and we encourage all to stay for a chat after the service.

There will not be a self-led service on the third Sunday this month. This is because of the additional service for Remembrance.
