We are pleased to say that Christ Church will be open for private prayer and for visitors each day from 10am until 4pm except when there may be a service or event taking place. While Covid numbers remain quite high, please observe sensible precautions around other users.

Holy Communion

A service of Communion is celebrated in Christ Church on the first Sunday of each month. We would like to welcome all to our service and our church. We are pleased to say our service now includes wine with the host. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service and we would encourage you to stay for a chat after the service.

Evening Epilogue

These services take place over the summer, each week until the Autumn and last about half an hour with a different invited leader speaking each week, lay or ordained and lead a service on a theme of their own choosing.
Traditionally the Epilogues were followed by a drink at the Blue Ball and may well happen again this year. Everyone is very welcome.

Morning Worship

We have a service of Morning Worship on the third Sunday of each month which is led by a member of our church. This is a fairly informal service and is family oriented and we are especially pleased to be inclusive for children in our service. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after and we encourage all to stay for a chat after the service.

There will not be a self-led family service on the third Sunday in May. It will be replaced by Holy Communion and a Christening.
