When I was interviewed for this post, Archdeacon Mark surprised me with a final question: "what is the gospel, for you, summed up in a single sentence?" Perhaps because it was a surprise it was easier to answer the heart:
Today I presided at a Whitsun Wedding - on this beautiful sunlit afternoon the church in Lynton was a place of joy as the couple made their vows surrounded by their friends and family sharing in the celebration.
