The latest Devon Churches Rural Forum Newsletter is here. This month especially deals with this year's harvest which for many has been difficult and the yeald this year is expected to be well down on normal. An exceptionally wet winter meant sowing was delayed or seeds failed to germinate. A drought at the height of the growing season exacerabated the situation. Reports also on milk and sheep prices, a Zoom conference with Andy Butler who is the Devon County Advisor for the NFU, and look out also for an item on the Countyside code from Martin Beck, our Rural Crime Officer for Devon who some might remember when he was based in Lynton.
