St Mary the Virgin
Welcome to St Mary the Virgin Lynton. One of the churches of the Lyn Valley Mission Community, eight rural churches in the very north of Devon where Exmoor meets the sea. Our usual, main Sunday service is Holy Communion at 11.00am, where everyone is welcome. The service is followed by a gathering for coffee where we look forward to meeting you.
If you are on holiday and visiting the area, you will be very welcome to join any of our services while you are staying here.

St Martin
Dear Virtual Church Visitor,
We are pleased to say that St Martin's will be open daily for visitors and for private prayer. There will also be a service of Holy Communion on the second Sunday of each month.
Despite the relaxation of government restrictions, Covid cases are currently very high in North Devon. We would ask those attending services to continue to take sensible precautions.

St Peter
Dear Virtual Church Visitor,
There are no regular services at St Peter's. Normally there are only services celebrating special annual events in the church year such as Christmas and Easter. You are welcome to join the congregation at any of the other churches in the Lyn Mission Community.

St John the Evangelist
St John the Evangelist Church at Countisbury is a sister church to St John The Baptist at Lynmouth. Both churches are part of the Lyn Valley Mission Community Group of Churches. St John the Evangelist is a beautiful country church and each year we hold a series of evening "Epilogue Services" which are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. These take place on a Sunday Evening at 8.30pm during the end of June, July and August.

Christ Church
Dear Church Visitor
Whether you are a virtual or actual visitor, then welcome. The church is open daily from10am until 4pm for private prayer. We offer a quiet place to sit away from the noise and distractions of the world.
Our regular services are Holy Communion at 9am on the first Sunday of each month, and a less formal family worship at 10am on the third Sunday led by members of the congregation. There will be extra services for special events in the church year such as Christmas, Easter and Plough Sunday.
If you are on holiday here and visiting the area, you will be very welcome at any of our services.
Visitors are very welcome. If you are a passing walker or cyclist, you may be grateful for somewhere to make running repairs. You will find a small box of useful items just inside the door on the table on the left.
