St Bartholomew

Dear Virtual Church Visitor,

There are no regular weekly services at St Bartholomew. There is occasionally an Evensong at 5pm on the first Sunday of the month but you should check the order of services as there are sometimes gaps. Services are held for significant annual events in the church calendar such as Christmas and Harvest Festival. Parishioners are welcome to join services at other churches in the Lyn Mission Community.

You can find the latest Mission Community Newsletter in the News and Notices menu under Notice Sheets.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Lynton with Barbrook: St Bartholomew's Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Lyn White 07726776654 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Details in the link below). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
