We are making our Harvest thanksgiving this week.

I invite you to take to heart Jesus’ words in the gospel – to consider the birds and the flowers around us, and to extend that to the natural beauty of our area.

My original diary for this month of October was full of dates for the various Harvest Festival Services. It is a sadness that we are not able to offer the gatherings that are so important to our rural communities.

After a refreshing time of annual leave (though it felt slightly different due to the current circumstances), it is good to be back.
