This week, as we reach the midpoint of the month in which many of our churches are celebrating harvest I am sending out prayers and a sermon based on the readings set for a Harvest Festival.
Rather than a video of me leading these prayers and thoughts I invite you to read through the prayers and sermon attached and notice what strikes a chord with you. Then to go outside if you can and to take your thoughts to God in prayer and praise, of if going out is not possible, perhaps notice the view through the window, or the sound of birdsong, perhaps you have cut flowers indoors, or even the taste of a meal might be something to linger with and pray your harvest prayers.
