Thank you to everyone who supported our launch event on 19th April. Gifts totalling over £1000 were received but we still have a long way to go towards our target of £80,000.Following a fungus/mushroom theme, our creative parishioners brought crafts, photographs and limericks. here are a couple:

There once was a church in trouble,

We feared it would fall into rubble. 

For Dodbrooke we pray

There must be a way

To get our church out of this muddle.

While we sit and study theology,

Above us is growing mycology.

To get rid of the spores

Come join our cause

And loud will resound our Doxology!
