St Peter's, Cornworthy
The church of St Peter in Cornworthy stands at the head of the descending street, commanding the village below. When, before the middle of the 13th century, the Priory rose above the western end of the same street, the view must have been a powerful one for village inhabitants.
Regular public worship is provided free of charge and is open to all. Details of forthcoming services are given on the noticeboard at the entrance.

Safeguarding
Our parish of Cornworthy: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA through the "Read More" link below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s Children or Adults Services.
