Did you know that the Gospel of Luke has more of Jesus' parables in it than the other three gospels? Welcome to the 3rd gospel with its portrait of Jesus the story teller and its emphasis on social justice and prayer.

The Friday evening Bible Study Group takes a slow and deep approach to scripture, based in lectio divina, giving attention to all levels of the text: the narrative and historical, the ethical, the symbolic and the mystical.

You don't have to read out loud unless you want to, in fact the only requirement is an open heart and an open mind.

The session runs for an hour and a half and for those who want to there is an opportunity to socialise at the Albert afterwards.
