We are getting ready for Christmas here at St John's. Preparing for our Family Nativity this Sunday 8th December where families attend dressed up as shepherd, angels or Kings if they so wish with mince pies after. A carol Service on December 15th at 4pm and then we will be busy sticking sweets on to sticks for our oranges already for our Christingle service which is so popular we now have to have 2 time slots. For the first time this year we having a special Light in the Darkness service for people to remember loved ones that have passed away. Christmas is a special time to remember the birth of Jesus, to be grateful of the blessings around us and to enjoy quality family time making memories.
