St George's Church Dittisham
Welcome to St. George's Church, Dittisham
The Revd. Dr. Andrew Langley and Churchwarden Penny Mathews, along with all the congregation of St. George’s look forward to welcoming you to this worshipping and caring church that seeks to serve God, the people of Dittisham and its visitors. The church is open Mon-Sat between 10am - 3pm and Sunday open 8.30am - 3pm. We feel sure you will enjoy a visit as St. George's church is for everyone, it is well used, loved and cared for by parishioners; the views from the outside of the church are wonderful, with the beautiful River Dart (a boundary for the parish) and sight of Haytor in the distance up on Dartmoor.
Ordinarily, St. George's holds services every Sunday at 9.15am. We aim to keep the Gallery section of ACNY up-to-date with a poster of the current month's services in Dittisham. These posters are also placed on the noticeboards around the village.
St. George's church is open every day from 10am-3pm for individual prayer, reflection, meditation or just a space to find some peace and quiet. We continue to remain mindful of each other regarding Covid. Hand sanitiser is available for use on entering and leaving the church - WELCOME & THANK YOU.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Churchwarden or Clergy if you need anything - see 'Get In Contact'.
