Some years ago, one of the members of St John's felt very strongly that it would be good if local people could come to the church and feel comfortable without necessarily coming to a church service. So the vision for Monday market was born. It began as a simple coffee bar but prior to the Covid crisis was a thriving market selling most things that anyone wishes to donate! The market is under Debbie's management and generally runs on the first Monday of each month. It is an important part of our outreach to the community. All members of the catering team have their Health & Hygiene Certificates and official logs are kept for cleaning so that our kitchen complies with regulations. The Monday Market is a real hive of activity. Come and check it out!
