Annual Carol Service. Join us for our carols service on Sunday 21st December at 5.30pm, when we will hear bible passages relevant to the Joy of Christmas, we will sing familiar carols and hear the St Matthias Gospel Choir.

Every Sunday we celebrate Communion using the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer.
This service has no music.

Every Sunday at for 1 hour

Every Sunday morning we gather in the Larkin Hall for an informal service to Explore what God is saying to us and doing in our lives. Usually sat around tables, with refreshments available (breakfast on the 1st Sunday of the month!) it includes worship songs, a bible story, a talk, an activity and a time of prayer.
This is aimed at everyone, form 6 months to 96 years old, and is very relaxed.

Morning Worship

Monthly. Every Second, Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour
St Matthias Church Torquay

A more formal service, of about an hour, but with a relaxed feel. We sing mainly hymns, and use the psalms and ‘canticles’ in a service booklet to guide us through. This takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays every month at 11am in church.

Communion Service

Monthly. Every First, Third, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
St Matthias Church Torquay

Twice a month at 11am we share the bread and wine in ‘Holy Communion’ together using the contemporary ‘Common Worship’ words. We have a mixture of songs and well known hymns.The service lasts around 60 minutes.

We learn together from a bible passage, and there’s always an opportunity to have someone pray with you or for you about any matter that troubles you.
