About Us

We are part of the community of Chelston, Torquay.  St Matthew's church building is centrally located at the top of Walnut Road, near the local shops. We are surrounded by green space and there is parking available.  You can't miss the building - it's of beautiful red local stone, and is one of the most beautifully decorated Victorian churches.  In fact it's renowned as being an 'architectural gem'.  On Sundays our worship is at 9.30am.  We also have toilet facilities and wheelchair access.  Every Friday at 10am we have a table-top sale which is extremely popular and all are welcome.
