(Luke 16:19-31). It struck me that I was like that rich man. I was indifferent to the poor. This is our attempt to engage in mission on foreign soil and make a difference. This is something I feel that as a benefice, we could do? We cannot reach the ends of the world with the gospel of Christ, but Compassion can. It is my hope that we will invest in children in one village in Togo, West Africa. We could make an impact. Child sponsorship lifts the whole family out of abject poverty. You are invited to listen to Dr. Andy Hutchinson as he explains the work of Compassion. Please will you pray for this project, that hearts are touched, and that sponsors will come forward. Please pray that people will come on 28th November. If you would like to help me in the oversight of this project please do get in touch. It would certainly help to have at least one representative from each of the churches? I think this is exciting!" With blessings and thanks.
