Today St Bridget's is a member of the Northmoor Team of Churches in the Okehampton area on the north-west edge of Dartmoor. But St Bridget's has been the parish church for Bridestowe since the fifteenth century, though the village had earlier places of worship before the present church was built. Today's congregation worships in 'covenant' partnership with the congregation of neighbouring Bridestowe Methodist Chapel, with a joint monthly service and frequent other events. There is a Sunday morning service every week at St Bridget's (or at the Methodist Church on alternate months for a United Service). The church is open each day for visitors, and the Team clergy welcome enquiries about baptisms and weddings.
