Across the churches of the Haldon Mission Community we will be joining in the celebrations of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee..Thursday 2 June: 10am-11.30am at St Michael’s, Teignmouth - Bell ringing Friday 3 June: 10am-1pm at St James', Teignmouth - Queen's Jubilee Celebration Peal by the Guild of Devonshire Ringers.10am-4pm The Den, Teignmouth: Drop-in Children's Stall. With fun things to do and make including sitting on a throne, wearing a crown and cope and other symbols of her role. Learning how the Queen's Christian faith has been so much part of her life.10.30am-12.30pm in St John's church, Bishopsteignton - Children's craft activities, music, Cake and Coffee. Celebration peal of church bells from 11-11.30am11.15am at St Mary's church Ideford - short (15-20 minutes) community led service followed celebration peal of the church bells.12-4pm Ashcombe Village Club Field - Platinum Jubilee Picnic (bring your own picnic). With Cake-Off Contest! Bring packed lunch to eat afterwards. TuesdayWalk from Bishopsteignton to Shaldon for 5pm Stations of the Cross and Holy Communion WednesdayFrom Shaldon to St James, Teignmouth and on to St Michael’s for 12 noon Stations of the Cross and Holy Communion.
