Bishop Nick McKinnel visited us at St Mary's Kingskerswell on Advent Sunday at a joint Eucharist with Abbotskerswell and Coffinswell. He blessed the Re-Ordering Work which has seen restoration and augmentation of the bells, installation of a mezzanine ringing chamber, refurbishment and enhancement of the kitchen, connection to mains gas and sewer, construction of an extension for a full access toilet, baby change and flower arranging area and the beginnings of an energy efficient heating system.  Mainly funded by legacies and fundraising efforts, the work began in April 2019 and the church has remained open throughout the work. 

Refreshments after the service saw the first use of the kitchen area and the bells were used to call all to worship for the first time since Spring.
