After a period of designs and requirements flying backwards and forwards, new Church noticeboards arrived at St John's. Over the course of a day three Parish Church noticeboards were put up within the churchyard. A new board replaced those that had been at the Ashburton Road and Newton Road gates for many years. A board was also placed at the north boundary of the churchyard, which can be seen clearly by those approaching from the direction of Bovey Tracey town centre. 

After gaining permission from Devon Council road signs pointing the way to St John's from the Dolphin Hotel junction and Bovey Straights roundabout were also erected.

Cabinets in the two gate boards allow news and information to be displayed that adds to that already on the noticeboards. This means that current up to date information can be passed on.
