From Church Road, a ramped parking area leads to the lych gateway which has two ramped steps.
A cobbled pathway takes you to the South door. Double doors open into the Church over a shallow sill.
A loop is installed. Those with hearing difficulty should set their hearing aid to 'T'
Assistant Dogs for the blind or visually impaired, or for the deaf or hearing impaired are welcome in church.

Music and Worship
The tower contains 8 bells, tenor 16 cwt, which are rung for services.
Practice takes place on Thursdays from 7:45 pm.
The nave lends itself to live performances with a raised platform for musicians or choir.
The organ, built by J W Walker in 1880, was overhauled & revoiced in 2014.
The console was renewed and relocated into the north aisle in 1972.
A robed choir lead singing for the services and special events at Christmas and Easter.
Practice takes place in either the Church or the Hall fortnightly.
Groups, Courses and Activities
Coffee and Chat is held every Monday morning from about 10:30.
Villagers and visitors are welcome to drop in.

A brief history of the building is set out on a paddleboard at the back of Church to guide vistors.
There is also a leaflet available to purchase.
The Church is open during the day and welcomes visitors.
Other Features
Regular collections of food take place at the third Sunday service for distribution by the Churches Housing Action Trust (CHAT), Tiverton.
St Marys Church lies at the southern end of the Silverton Conservation Area (2015) which includes the graveyard and the open space of The Berry.
