From August 1st, the main 10am service at Sidmouth Parish Church will include a congregational hymn at the end. Those singing are asked to wear masks and the doors will be open for ventilation. In other changes, the spacing in the centre aisles has now been reduced to 1m, but we are keeping 2m spacing in the side aisles. Most people are still wearing masks in church, and are encouraged to do so, especially when moving around the church. For those nervous about infection, the 8am service has no singing and smaller numbers with greater spacing.
Following the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, our sincere condolences and prayers are with Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family, as they mourn the loss.
