David, one of our local Licensed Lay Ministers, is walking between 8 churches in the area (including Tipton St John and Venn Ottery churches), 30 km/18.5 miles, all in one day, to raise money for Devon Historic Churches Trust. This charity has supported both our churches with grants in the past and we are likely to need them again soon! Half the money David raises will come straight back to our churches in this parish and the other half will go to support the charity's work generally in the county. The parish of Tipton: St John w Venn Ottery is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
