Come and have a cup of coffee and a chat with friends, old and new! There should be baked goods and possibly other produce to buy, too - especially if you bring something with you!

You are very welcome to join the home worship service live on Zoom using your internet browser. You can access this very simply by clicking on the "more info" bar, which is a web link. You don't need a camera on your device but it is nice if we can see who we are worshipping with. You will need to set the volume on your speakers so you can hear the worship leader and the musicians. Your microphone will be muted during the service but you are encouraged to chat before the service and to unmute yourself to join in with fellowship afterwards, too!

In 6 sessions we will discover more about how we relate to Jesus and grow in our understanding of and love for our Lord. 1st October – Walking with Jesus at 1 Barton Mews, Venn Ottery (Malcolm and Shirley’s)
8th October – Known by Jesus at Mistletoe Cottage, Metcombe (Lizzi’s)
22nd October – Waiting for Jesus at Sexton’s Cottage (Jenny’s)
29th October – Named by Jesus – location TBC
5th November – Faith and Jesus – location TBC
12th November – Obedience and Jesus – location TBC
We meet most Thursdays but for the next 6 months we will be moving around – this week’s session ‘Walking with Jesus’ is at 1 Barton Mews, Venn Ottery (Malcolm and Shirley’s). No previous experience of a homegroup is required, just a desire to explore the Bible and grow in faith in the company of fellow pilgrims – contact David Williamson for more details.

Service of Holy Communion

Monthly. Every Second Sunday at for 1 hour

All are welcome to attend this worship service and to come to the rail for a blessing if they don't want to take Communion. Gluten free wafers are available on request. There will be hymns to sing, Bible readings, a sermon, liturgy (Order One, Common Worship) and prayers. There is a carpeted area near the font where children can play with books and toys, or they can bring them back to their pew to play with there if they would prefer. Children and families are very welcome in our church! Do stay for coffee and a chat afterwards!
