There will be liturgy (Common Worship Order 1), a Bible reading, hymns to sing, a sermon and prayers, as well as the administration of Holy Communion.

All welcome for fellowship, prayer, Bible study and conversation as lively as you want it to be! You don't need to worship in our parish, or anywhere for that matter, to attend. It would be useful but not necessary if you could bring your own Bible. We aim to finish by 9.15 pm. Please contact David Williamson if you need transport.

Come and have a cup of coffee and a chat with friends, old and new! There should be baked goods and possibly other produce to buy, too - especially if you bring something with you!

You are very welcome to join the worship service live on Zoom using your internet browser. You can access this very simply by clicking on the Online Service in the upcoming services section of the home page of the Otter Vale Mission Community website: https://ottervalechurches.org/. You don't need a camera on your device but it is nice if we can see who we are worshipping with. You will need to set the volume on your speakers so you can hear the worship leader and the musicians. Your microphone will be muted during the service but you are encouraged to chat before the service and to unmute yourself to join in with fellowship afterwards, too!

All are welcome to attend this worship service and to come to the rail for a blessing if they don't want to take Communion. Gluten free wafers are available on request. There will be hymns to sing, Bible readings, a sermon, liturgy (Order One, Common Worship) and prayers. There is a carpeted area near the font where children can play with books and toys, or they can bring them back to their pew to play with there if they would prefer. Children and families are very welcome in our church! Do stay for coffee and a chat afterwards!

Arrive to coffee, pastries and chat at tables, with craft activities for all age groups. At 11 am there is informal worship, with a few hymns to sing, some particularly suitable for children, a Bible reading, a reflection and activity for all and some prayers. You can carry on enjoying refreshments throughout if you want to.

David Williamson, one of our Licensed Lay Ministers, will lead this family-friendly worship service at Tipton Church. Younger family members may like to play with the toys and books on the carpeted area at the back of the church (next to the font) or they are welcome to bring them back to their pew. There is a little "running around room" at the back of the church, too. Do stay for refreshments afterwards!

This meeting is open to everyone who lives in the parish of Tipton St. John with Venn Ottery to elect new Churchwardens for the coming year (we currently have none). But also to hear of the activities of the church and the church parish council (PCC) in 2024 to fulfill the Mission Action Plan, and to receive the financial report and annual accounts for the parish in 2024. New members of the PCC will also be elected: there are potential vacancies for these posts too. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the Vicar and the PCC so do put this in your diary!

We meet in Church for an hour of structured prayer, linking in with the international Anglican prayer initiative https://www.thykingdomcome.global/ There will be opportunities to pray aloud in this small group but you won't be expected to do so. There will be some Bible readings too.
