The Bible Reading Marathon held in Feniton Church from 3-5 November 2023 has (so far) raised over £1100. The readers read their way through the whole Bible, through cold nights and awkward-to-pronounce names to finally finish during Storytome on Sunday 5 November. The children joined in to read the final words of Revelation.

The funds are much needed since current work to stop the roof of the church tower leaking and other remedial roof works are likely to cost over £20,000. We are very happy that The Friends of St Andrews have agreed to fund half of the work, however the reamining £10,000 to be paid by the church directly will make a severe hole in our 2023 finances.

We are grateful to all those who read and who have donated to this fundraiser. We were happy to be able to increase the reach of our fundraising by use of the contactless/web fundraising solution recently supplied by The Diocese of Exeter's Mission Reseources department.
