Plymtree was awarded the silver Eco Church in September 2024.

Over the Mayday bank holiday weekend parishioners from Plymtree revived the ancient tradition of beating the boundary of the parish. This coincided with Rogationtide which is the sixth Sunday of Easter in the days before Ascension.

The 172 chapters of the Apocrypha as contained in our Church’s historic lectern Bible will be read during Lent.
