Our Bible Readathon is scheduled to take place from 12th to 15th June 2024. At midday on Wednesday 12th, we're going to start reading the Bible aloud in church… and we're going to keep on, God willing, until we finish, which is projected to be some time on the evening of Saturday 15th.

our booking system for those who would like to read is now open!

We have 160 slots to fill - 80 hours, with two readers booked in for each hour.

All you have to do to book yourself in, is to follow the link below and then add your name to one or more of the cells on the spreadsheet:

Please keep a note of whichever slots(s) you book yourself in for, as we won't be sending reminders. Also please note the following:

- you can read from whichever Bible translation you choose and in whatever language you prefer

- as we will have two readers for each slot, you probably won't be reading for more than half an hour. If that's too much for you, don't worry - there will be other people around to help

- children welcome

- if you find you can't keep your slot, please send a message to 07905 505623 so we can find someone else

- you're signing up for a time slot, not to read a particular text. Although we've tried our best to predict what we'll be reading when, we may go faster or slower than we think.

Thank you!

St John's, West Wickham

Welcome to St John's.

We're a church family drawn mainly from the local area, with a wide age range and from a variety of backgrounds. We appreciate it's not easy to find a church you can call home, but we hope our website gives you a feel for who we are and some of what we do.
