About Us

Our Vision

We want to be a beating heart for the city of Exeter. We want everyone, whoever they are and whatever their story, to know God’s love. People have been worshipping at St Matt’s since Victorian times and, though the needs of our community and the city have changed, we continue to seek ways to best serve those needs.

If you want to get involved, there’s plenty going on: from Alpha and Hubs to Creatives, which serve in all areas of church life and beyond, and our prison ministry where we run a monthly service in Exeter prison.
