Many of our special Christmas services in Alphington will have a voluntary collection which is shared between our three Christmas charities. These are The Children’s Society, Initiative in Christian Education, Exeter (ICE), and Serving in Mission (SIM). We’ll make it clear at each event where your gift is to be directed. Admission is free to all events in Alphington, with the exception of the Christingle Workshop where there is a small charge and booking ahead is requested, and the Christmas Fayre.

A traditionasl late night Communion for Christmas Eve

The first Communion of Christmas... starting at 11.30pm

A special midweek service, rich in devotion and deep in reverence. With a warm sense of togetherness and fellowship in the love of God.
Tea and coffee afterwards

Celebrating the birth of Christ. Children are encouraged to bring along one of their Christmas presents to "show and tell."
For the churches of Alphington, Shillingford & Ide. All welcome.

At the heart of village life. Drop in to meet friends, Enjoy the warmth of Alphington Village Hall. Tea and toast, crumpets and coffee, hot chocolate and cake. And it's all free.

A joint service for the people of Alphington, Shillingford and Ide. Hosted in Ide at 10am.

Informal worship for all the family.
This takes place on the first Sunday of each month.

Our worship has a contemporary feel... but we never lose that rich connection with the traditions of the past.
There's lots of space in the upper gallery for parents and children to be part the service, or make a noise, without feeling everyone's watching you.

An opportuntiy for Dads, Grandads, Father figures etc to spend time with their under 8's. 10am to 11.30 in St Michael's on Sat 17th February. Bacon Rolls will be served.
