Explore the wildlife in the churchyard. Help us to think about how we might develop community involvement in encouraging it to flourish. St Thomas of Canterbury

Welcome to St Thomas' Church in the heart of Thorverton. We are part of a team of nine churches called the Netherexe Mission Community.  The church is a very beautiful Grade 1 listed building, medieval in origin but much altered in Victorian times. We need and welcome financial help to maintain it.

Please visit our website for full details of our services and other events at www.netherexe.org. All are welcome at any of our services and the church is usually open every day (at least from 0900-1600).

The parish of Thorverton: St Thomas of Canterbury is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
