We had a lovely day pressing apples to make delicious juice to take home. People donated apples and refreshments ; donations for the juice and apples were collected for Namrata Shah Orphanage and School in Kenya. This is a project that is supported through the Exeter Diocese Tripartite Link and we have adopted Namrata Shah as our designated overseas charity to support. We are a small rural church and it makes sense for us to be able to give consistently to one designated project so our gifts will have a sustaining impact. Two members of our church community have visited Namrata and we feel a close relationship with them. The Orphanage supports up 52 Children , with education and care and is managed by The Anglican Church of Kenya.
