Many thanks to Helen Patterson and her family for hosting our Zoom Coffee Mornings during her furlough period.The Vicar will be hosting them from October 27th depending on changes to government and CofE pandemic safety guidelines.
We resume our Advent masses at 10.30am with a cautious and simple Mass, with optional communion of one kind. We cannot expect everyone to return at once due to various health and frailty issues. Pre-recorded online services will available for those unable to return.All Saints' community will have been apart physically for 16 weeks (112 days; 2.8 Lent periods; and again from 9 November until 6 December), putting up with isolation, some missing paid and voluntary work, school, family visits, community connections, and among other aspects of our lives. Many people have suffered great grief and suffering at this time. Alongside this has been a time of opportunity to discover much about ourselves and our close loved ones. Many of us have learned new skills on Zoom with coffee mornings, church meetings, courses, conferences, and virtual family time.God is with us in this time of change so the bigger picture must be good!
