This year marks the 50th anniversary of Tony Yates as musical director of St Margaret's Topsham. Many lives have been enhanced by Tony's dedicated service to the church and in community. To celebrate his extraordinary career, we will be holding several opportunities to gather on Sunday 17th September. At 10am there will be a joint mission community Eucharist, during which favourite musical choral pieces chosen by Tony will be sung. This will be followed by a bring-and-share lunch; which in turn will be followed by an afternoon concert at 1.30pm, with invited musicians to play and sing in Tony's honour. Please do put these in your diary and invite neighbours and friends to come along too. Psalm 98: 4 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; 5 make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing,

St Margaret's Church, Topsham

A very warm welcome to you.

The churches of St Margaret's Topsham and St Luke's Countess Wear work together with our Vicar Revd Louise Grace and leadership team to outreach to both areas. Our mission values spring forth from the two great commandments, to Love God and to love our neighbours as ourselves. We aspire to be faithful in worship and prayer, whilst outward looking in service to our communities. Our charism is to be inclusive and generous in spirit and hospitality. Did anyone say cake?

We hope you will find these webpages helpful and inspiring. Find information about our services and other events, music; news and notices; provision for families; prayer ideas; a Daily Reflection each day; Zoom links to join our online services; a donations page to allow you to make donations easily online; opportunities to volunteer, and lots more news about the church and how to contact us.

There are several pages to look at on the left-hand side of the screen. In some cases, a section contains more than one page, so remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the arrow in order to navigate to the next page.

We hope to see you at our services and other events. Everyone is very welcome. And please do get in touch if you need any spiritual or pastoral support, or someone to pray with or for you, or simply just a listening ear.

Blessings and warmest wishes to all.
