‘Big Brew’ coffee morning for Fairtrade Fortnight Saturday 4th March
Sadly, after 40 years pioneering and championing the cause of trade justice, Traidcraft PLC went into administration just after Christmas and is no longer trading. They are working hard to rescue at least some parts of the business but in the meantime it is more important than ever to support the cause of trade justice. On Saturday 4th March from 10am-12noon local churches will be holding a combined ‘Big Brew’ coffee morning at St Margaret’s Church where Fairtrade coffee, tea and cakes will be served and there will be a chance to browse a selection of Fairtrade goods and find out more about the work of the Fairtrade Foundation.
All the money raised will go towards Transform Trade’s work helping communities in the Global South fight an unfair trading system which traps them in poverty.
For more details contact Revd Maggie Stirling Troy (01392 681631 [email protected]). Anyone wanting to support this work can donate online at https://www.transform-trade.org/donate

St Margaret's Church, Topsham

A very warm welcome to you.

The churches of St Margaret's Topsham and St Luke's Countess Wear work together with our Vicar Revd Louise Grace and leadership team to outreach to both areas. Our mission values spring forth from the two great commandments, to Love God and to love our neighbours as ourselves. We aspire to be faithful in worship and prayer, whilst outward looking in service to our communities. Our charism is to be inclusive and generous in spirit and hospitality. Did anyone say cake?

We hope you will find these webpages helpful and inspiring. Find information about our services and other events, music; news and notices; provision for families; prayer ideas; a Daily Reflection each day; Zoom links to join our online services; a donations page to allow you to make donations easily online; opportunities to volunteer, and lots more news about the church and how to contact us.

There are several pages to look at on the left-hand side of the screen. In some cases, a section contains more than one page, so remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the arrow in order to navigate to the next page.

We hope to see you at our services and other events. Everyone is very welcome. And please do get in touch if you need any spiritual or pastoral support, or someone to pray with or for you, or simply just a listening ear.

Blessings and warmest wishes to all.
