St John the Baptist church is a picturesque 13th century church in the heart of this semi rural village. We are looking forward to welcoming you to join us for one of our weekly services. We have a Communion service at 10am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
The church is also used for our fortnightly ‘Chatterbox’ group which meet for coffee, chat and friendship. Knit and Natter gives our local ‘stitchers’ a chance to meet together to get creative and form new friendships as well as strengthening existing ones.
The parish of Broadclyst: St John the Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
