To celebrate 200 years of the work of Holy Trinity Church in Exmouth, we are hosting a community art painting competition with the theme ‘Expressions of Hope’.
Entries are invited on a canvas no larger than 1m x 1m using any medium, addressing the concept, ‘Expressions of Hope.’
The age categories for the competition will be Under 11s, 11-17, and 18 and over.
Submissions, bearing on the rear the name, age, address, and phone number of the artist, should be dropped off at Holy Trinity Church between 11.30 am and 12.30 am on Sunday 21st July or between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm on Monday 22nd July.
Judging will take place on the 23rd July and paintings can be collected from the church between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm on the 24th July. We are pleased to welcome Angie Seaway, a local artist, as the judge.
There will be a prize for the first, second, and third placed artist in each age category, and each prize winner will be invited to display their work in Holy Trinity Church during the 200th Anniversary Flower Festival between the 26th and 28th July
There is no entry fee for the competition

Holy Trinity

Welcome to our beautiful Church, Holy Trinity. Our tower is the highest point in Exmouth and can be seen from across the estuary. We are one of three Churches in the Mission Community of Littleham-cum-Exmouth with Lympstone. Sunday morning services start at 10.00 am, visitors are always welcomed and invited to join us in fellowship in the upstairs Hall afterwards (there is a lift). The Church is Cathedral-like inside, with acoustics perfect for the many concerts held throughout the year.  We are blessed to have a gifted Director of Music, Paul Stock, an accomplished organist and choirmaster. Our experienced clergy are honoured to provide personally tailored Weddings, Baptisms and Funeral services for those important life events. The Parish Office is open every weekday and our administrator is happy to help with any queries
