Gardens Great and Small - a fascinating talk by Dick Bolton

In September last year, Dick, a retired lecturer for NADFAS (now the Arts Society), gave us a very well received talk on Stained Glass.

He has agreed to return on Thursday 13th April, this time to entertain us with

“Gardens Great and Small” in which he will share with us many interesting gardens he has visited at home and abroad.

Dick is a Blue Badge tourist guide and has lead many visits to gardens across the country.

He will tell you his stories and those of famous gardeners, writers and poets.

Please come and enjoy this light-hearted attempt to inform, entertain and amuse you. Warning: there may be some audience participation!!

Refreshments included in the £5 ticket. To book places please email [email protected]

Safeguarding

Our parish of Stamfordham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Sue Parker 01661 886384 or email [email protected] or Revd Rachel Scheffer 07916681128 or email [email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Jill Thirlaway, our diocesan Safeguarding Caseworker: [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
