This is a meeting for *all* members of our local communities, but particularly the PCCs of Hentland with Hoarwithy, Tretire with Pencoyd & Michaelchurch, Garway, Orcop, and St Weonards. The meeting will be chaired by Revd Sheila Anthony, Rural Dean of Ross & Archenfield.

This is an opportunity to hear about the work of the churches in our benefice and to discuss future plans. Do come to find out more, and to put your point of view about the way forward for our churches.

There will be a short meeting of St Weonards PCC after the main meeting.

Refreshments available after the meeting.

St Weonards Church

St Weonards is an active Anglican church situated in a beautiful part of south-west Herefordshire.

St Weonards benefice includes the parishes of Garway, Orcop, St Weonards, Tretire with Michaelchurch and Pencoyd, and Hentland and Hoarwithy. We form part of the church in the deanery of Ross & Archenfield in the Diocese of Hereford.

In each of our parishes, you'll find church members actively supporting and caring for those around them, and contributing in many ways to the life of our local communities.

Visitors are most welcome to visit our beautiful grade 1 listed church, which is open during the day, and of course to join us for mid-week or Sunday services.

As a church, as part of our witness, we 'strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth' (5th mark of mission).  We achieved an Eco Church bronze award in 2020 and look forward to further progress in this vital area.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
