Christ Church provides an ideal venue and meeting place in central Malvern. It is sited in Avenue Road, just to the east of the town centre – two minutes walk from Great Malvern Station and right next door to Malvern St. James School. We assure you of a warm and friendly welcome. We can cater for community groups, corporate events and concerts. For concerts we can accommodate 400 people.
Christ Church has wonderful acoustics which are so clear and pure. It encourages great performances by both local talent and international performers. Do come and join us.
Every Saturday at 11am there is live music. Our music coordinator Philip Holland plays for many of these, organ or piano, from early music to pop. Requests welcome. It is also an opportunity for soloists to rehearse in a large space or for pupils to perform in front of a small friendly audience under no pressure.
SERVICES CALENDARChrist Church is part of the Church of England and has a small, but very friendly and caring congregation. We really want you to feel at peace in the presence of the Lord our God. We believe that we provide an oasis of peace, calm and friendship in a sometimes hectic world.
Our pattern of service:
1st Sunday: Family non-eucharistic Service. All are welcome to join in.
2nd Sunday: Sung Holy Communion with hymns.
3rd Sunday: Morning Worship, an opportunity to explore a theme.
4th Sunday: Sung Holy Communion with hymns.
5th Sunday: Morning Worship, developing our multi-cultural ministry.
